Processor of TSQL2 on Post-Relational Databases in Oracle Database
Szkandera, Jan ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on temporal databases and their multimedia and spatial extensions. The introduction of this work summarizes results in the area of research of temporal databases - key concepts of a TSQL2 language and post-relational extension of Oracle database are introduced. Main part of the thesis is design of an interpreter as a layer between user application and relational database.  In the next part of the thesis control of integrity constraints in temporal databases are discussed. Result of this work is functional interpreter of TSQL2 language able to store post-relational data.
Processor of TSQL2 on a Relational Database System
Tomek, Jiří ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and implementation of TSQL2 language interpreter for SQL. It briefly introduces temporal database and language TSQL2. Currently available implementations of temporal database systems are introduced and their practical usability for temporal data is reviewed. Main part of this thesis covers design and implementation of TSQL2 interpreter. A working TSQL2 interpreter implemented in Java as JDBC adapter is the result of this work.
Database Version Management for Application Development in Eclipse
Palarczyk, Vít ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with database version control for application development in Eclipse. In the theoretical part, it provides information about the Eclipse environment and its extension modules (plugins) that are an inseparable part of Eclipse. There is also a description of version control systems with a detailed focus on the Subversion system and a description of the JDBC application interface that is used for connecting the database in Java applications. The next part deals with the design of a tool for database version control, which is implemented as a plugin for Eclipse. In this section, there is a description of the implementation and a description of the installation and use of this tool. In the final part, there is a description of the performed tests and their results.
The Database of Moving Objects
Vališ, Jaroslav ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work treats the representation of moving objects and operations over these objects. Introduces the support for spatio-temporal data in Oracle Database 10g and presents two designs of moving objects database structure. Upon these designs a database was implemented using the user-defined data types. Sample application provides a graphical output of stored spatial data and allows us to call an implemented spatio-temporal operations. Finally, an evaluation of achieved results is done and possible extensions of project are discussed.
Database application in JAVA language
Bernát, Michal ; Karásek, Jan (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals about the MySQL database system and its connection with JAVA programming environment. It discusses the implementation of applications with data editing database tables. In the first theoretical part deals about connectivity to the database server using JDBC Connector and its types. Next it defining properties of connection and communication with FTP server. The thesis describes also the security of communication with server using SLL/TLS protocol. The practical part describes how to create the server side of project and the application in JAVA FX.
Technologies for Persistent Objects in Java
Šenk, Zdeněk ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with technologies for persistence of objects in Java. It briefly describes options of persistence of objects into files and further especially modern technologies for persistence of objects into database systems, particularly relational. It describes JDBC technology, framework Hibernate, application interface JDO, SQLJ technology, frameworks OJB and TopLink in detail and briefly the other tools. The emphasis is especially put on their usage, which is illustrated by amount of examples, their properties comparison and recommendation for the application building. The other part of thesis deals with life phases of information system development, where the differences of usage of JDBC and Hibernate, their mutual comparison from different points of view, importance of software architecture and design patterns for the application development in J2EE are presented.
Message Logging System
Vrzal, Miroslav ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis in the first part describes the AS/400 and its message system and concentrates especially on the following areas: predefinition of messages and their storing, types of messages and levels of their importance, work with variables included in message text and ways of sending messages. On the basis of AS/400 message system is designed and implemented message log system for the application loggin for Aegis. s.r.o. The analysis of the message log systems is also a part of the work. The syslog and syslog-ngused in UNIX systems are described, concerning types of messages, importance of messages and filtering and storing of messages. It further describes possibilities of application logging based on Java in the specific case of the Log4jutility. In the second part thesis describes own log message systems design and implementation.
A Demo of Query Languages for Temporal Databases
Fekiač, Filip ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an application for interconnect diferrences among temporal databases. The main idea of this project is allow user work with languages TSQL2 and ATSQL without user intervention into relation database system. This work also contain implementation of interface JDBC and demonstration application for testing temporal queries.
Possibilities of SQL database design in MATLAB and realization of database structure for storing measurement results
Michálek, Petr ; Dobossy, Barnabás (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is describing the usage of SQL database systems with MATLAB. The objective is to do market research considering the use of SQL databases, compare those systems and their implementation. The aim is to create tools that would allow the SQL database to be operated using MATLAB without the usage of a paid Database Toolbox. The last goal is to showcase these tools.
Software Integration
Strouhal, Jaroslav ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis: processing problem of intregration software resolution and propose the integration such the resolution using in real company, implemented into local information system with using existing  data formats and interface. Proposal integration must implement and evaluate resolution of work.
